Feb 1984 - Trading commences with Nick Metaxas as Kettering agent for Interlink Express Parcels

Feb 1986 - Purchase of franchise from Interlink

April 1987 - Launch of Same day delivery service

Jan 1998 - Purchase of Northampton Interlink franchise

September 1998 - Merger of 2 franchise territories into 1 and move to 12,000 sq ft premises in Kettering

October 2000 - Awarded 3rd place in British Franchise Assocation's Franchisee of the Year Awards

February 2001 - Winners of Interlink Express Depot of the Year and Franchisee of the Year

May 2001 - Launch of Pick and Pack and Pallet Storage services

April 2004 - Incorporation of Metro Sameday & Logistics Ltd, initially operating all non-Interlink services alongside franchise.

July 2004 - launch of remote pick and pack service for web retailers

October 2005 - opening of our Ebay shop, metrosameday

April 2008 - Purchase of the Interlink Express franchises by Metro Sameday & Logistics Ltd

Today our team of 25 people is dedicated to delivering and collecting over 2,000 parcels a day in the Northamptonshire and South Leicestershire area, providing service levels above 99.5%, the best in the industry.
